Started to close a gap
Railblazers started with a simple observation: too many small businesses were still running on tools built for a different decade, an old order book, a Facebook page standing in for a website, or nothing online at all, while the software that could actually help them was priced and built for companies ten times their size.
Modern development tools changed that math. The kind of custom, well-built software that used to take a big budget and a big team can now be built lean and fast. Railblazers exists to pass that shift on to the businesses that need it most, the corner shop, the family workshop, the local service that's been doing good work for years and just needs the internet to catch up with it.
We also build differently. Instead of handing a business a rigid system and asking it to adapt, we start from how it already works and build the software around that. Technology should meet people where they are, not the other way around.
Why "Railblazers"
The name is a play on "trailblazers." Take rail, for trains and the kind of engineering that's solid and reliable, running on schedule with no surprises, and blaze it, push it so fast the rails practically catch fire. That's the balance we build for: solid engineering running at real speed. It's also trailblazing in the literal sense, going first and clearing a path so the businesses that come to us don't have to find their own way onto the modern web.
